Job position for a professional Graphics designer Full-time Job

Our client, an incredible marketing and creative agency, is looking for an Experiential Designer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the co-development of creative concepts for a variety of events, dinners, pop-up activations, and large-scale brand experiences, working collaboratively with both senior and junior designers as well as the in-house production team. You Will:

• Provide and receive art direction on all aspects of event design including set and spatial design, 2D and 3D renderings, and event builds
• Lead own projects while coaching junior designers and supporting senior designers and art director
• Work with team of Account Managers, Event Producers, Strategists, and Designers
• Build 3D models and draw floor plans to scale
• Create compelling renderings of physical environments to sell in ideas to clients
• Communicate with vendors to produce graphics and build items

You Have:

• 2+ years of graphic and spatial design experience, preferably with an established experiential agency (a plus) 
• Exceptional design sensibility with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and typography into 2D and 3D build environments
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up Pro and Podium rendering software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great storyteller with both expressive and logistical communication skills
• Strong experience in spatial problem solving
• Proficiency in drawing to scale and familiarity with architectural construction documents, elevations, plans, shop drawings, etc.
• Ability to translate brand voice into a physical space
• Ability to multitask while remaining efficient, poised, and organized
• Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and types
• Experience with site surveys, load ins and a bit of coordination experience with lighting and AV vendors (preferred)

Logistics:

• Projected Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is identified but looking to hire within the next 2 weeks
• Fulltime position, 40 hours/week
• Onsite/offsite: NYC talent only - hybrid role 
• Laptop/Program Requirements: A laptop will be provided for you
• Reporting to: Creative Director

• Salary/Rate: $65-75K annually
